We had such a wonderful time at Hotel Las Truchas. We stayed for three nights for a relaxing getaway. The pool and restaurant were fantastic, and the bedroom was spacious and perfect for our needs. I felt at ease knowing that my bike was stored safely. The atmosphere at the hotel was tranquil and had an old-world charm. The Wi-Fi worked well, although I must admit, it would have been even more heavenly without it. Lastly, I have to mention the breakfast staff member who went above and beyond - he truly deserves recognition for his exceptional service. 10 out of 10!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

Well, there were a couple of things that weren't completely horrible about this place. First, I was able to leave my luggage at reception before checking in, so that was a relief. Second, the pool was actually quite nice and I enjoyed taking a dip there. Oh, and one more thing - the man in charge of breakfast was the only friendly face I encountered during my stay.
Honestly, where do I even begin? First off, the price was absolutely outrageous!

Top of the hill! We missed the sign that said if you were leaving early you had to settle the bill the night before so we were delayed in leaving. The pool and restaurant were great. The bedroom was large and perfect for our needs. My bike was stored safely however getting access to it the next morning was tricky and delayed my departure.

The hotel provided a jaw-dropping experience with its spacious and perfect bedrooms. The pool was mind-blowing and the restaurant offered super value for money. The staff, especially the breakfast worker, was top-notch, scoring 10 out of 10. The hotel also had free wi-fi, free parking, luggage storage, a bar/lounge area, a restaurant with a welcome drink and snack bar. The seasonal outdoor pool was fantastic and there were various activities like hiking, cycling, table tennis, tennis, and squash. The hotel also had a children's play area with a pool and menu, as well as cots, board games, and wheelchair access. The room had a flat-screen TV and the hotel provided VIP check-in/-out. Additionally, the hotel had sun loungers, laundry service, and a coffee shop. It was a truly wonderful and tranquil place to stay, offering a step back in time.

During my recent stay at a certain hotel near the beach, I quickly realized that the location was not the most convenient. It was difficult to reach by public transport and required quite a bit of planning and research in advance. the room I was assigned was disappointingly small, making it difficult to move around comfortably. the bathroom had several issues, including cracks, missing grouting, and even hairs on the floor from the previous guest. the service at the hotel was also lacking, with the reception staff exhibiting an unpleasant attitude. the breakfast, although included, was basic and lacked variety. the hotel did offer Wi-Fi, although the connection was poor. the pool was empty during my stay, which was disappointing considering it was the start of the season. Despite these drawbacks, I was able to leave my luggage at the reception ahead of check-in.
The dinner options at the hotel were overpriced, leaving much to be desired in terms of value for money.

We had an incredible time at Las Truchas! the pool and restaurant were fantastic, and the large bedroom was just perfect for our needs. Our bikes were safely stored, although accessing them in the morning was a bit tricky and delayed our departure. the tranquil atmosphere felt like stepping back in time, and the Wi-Fi worked well enough. the real highlight, though, was the breakfast staff member who went above and beyond - truly the best worker we've ever come across. A solid 10 out of 10!
For us, Las Truchas was simply ideal. 😊
